Over the years I have shot in many different towns and locations. On reviewing my photographs I have realized that although the surroundings are important, the photos that I’m drawn to aren’t the “big scenery, little bride and groom” shots. It’s not even the formal portraits, side-by-side shots. The ones I love are the little looks and laughs that the brides and grooms give each other during the photo shoot. The look that says “you’re the one for me”. I’ll always shoot the required family and group shots, of course, and the detail photos that you took so long to choose. The location is important but with me, you’ll also get the candid “photojournalistic” shots too.
