Today I skied the Greppon Blanc area between Siviez and Thyon. On the piste map it looks tiny but in reality it is huge. Have to say the lifts are dreadful – long drag lifts and the worst 2-man chair I’ve ever been on (worse than the Orange Chair, if any of you in Whistler remember that). BUT, and it’s a big but, the terrain is huge, fun and untouched. It was closed all week so the snow we had yesterday has settled and was lovely to ski. Strangely though, most of the Europeans just stick to the groomed runs / pistes. The following photos show my tracks on every line I skied. I only stopped because I was freezing -18 or so with the wind chill.
