This lovely family represented three generations – the grandparents with two daughters and their families. They chose the covered bridge / Rebagliatti Park in Whistler Village for the photo shoot: With just an hour’s shoot it offers plenty of variety.
When discussing family portraits I am often asked about what the families should wear. My recommendation is usually solid colours rather than patterns, no logo-wear and for summer photos light colours. It’s a portrait session and the clothes should reflect your family. For the Nelson’s I love that they chose a ‘theme’ of white red and denim which ties the group photos together well without making them look like they are wearing uniforms. Nice job!
