Ok, yet another studio shot, but I’ll let you into a secret – I bought a new little toy called a ‘light-tight’ that holds your camera flash on a light stand at more or less any angle. It makes it much easier to get the light exactly where you need it. Like on the apple and casting the shadow exactly where I want it.

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010Well it was a challenging day to shoot wedding photographs. The weather for late August was unseasonably cold – almost at zero at the Roundhouse. With pouring rain the ceremony was moved inside at the last minute into an empty restaurant. I managed to get some outdoor mountain portraits of the family and couple before Elizabeth couldn’t take it anymore without a coat.
Back at the Nita Lake Lodge the party got underway in the beautifully decorated Train Station. Cheers and good luck to both!
