Vancouver’s Redeye Empire played live again at the mainstage of the WSSF.  This guy, however, is a local and he was asked up to the stage for one song.  There are other photos of him, Redeye Empire and some fans here.

The Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival has come to Whistler again.  Some of the best skiers and riders in the world come here to strut their stuff.  There’s lots of arts, music and other entertainment going on too.  This skier was in the finals of the Orage Masters comp.

This is the last day of the first six months!  It was also Kat’s first day outdoors after a winter indoors.

Skiing on Whistler Mountain I noticed that the shadows of the ski lifts looked interesting.

This chess set in one of the local hotels caught my eye as a potential subject a while ago.  So, short of a shot today, here it is.  I don’t even know how to play!

In talking with a couple of the skaters in Whistler’s skate park it seems that it is a quite revered park. This skater was the only one with in-line skates, most of the others were on skate boards or bikes.
