Five Alarm Funk at the Olympics

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

Five Alarm Funk could barely fit on the stage at Whistler Live! today and they drew huge crowds.  Funny to see the band taking photos of the crowd!  They were awesome and super high energy as always.

Drummers

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

These drummers played between the women’s and men’s skeleton Olympic finals at the Whistler Sliding Center.  I’m not sure of their name but they were fantastic and I’m stoked with the photographs largely due to the beautiful early evening sky.

365 Project – Day 127

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

What a fantastic day!  So much going on, from the volunteers and track workers who make it happen, to the racers, their equipment, the track and the fans – it was hard to pick just one photo for the day, but with Jon Montgomery of Canada winning the first Olympic gold medal in Whistler I had to show the fans reaction.

Check out more photos from the skeleton finals here.

Canadian fans go nuts as Jon Montgomery wins Gold!

What a fantastic day!  So much going on, from the volunteers and track workers who make it happen, to the racers, their equipment, the track and the fans.  But of course today was a great day for me as both British and Canadian citizen with Amy Williams of Britain and Jon Montgomery of Canada both winning gold.  Awesome!
