Frank is a local guy – trying to make a little cash busking in Whistler. We had a chat and he sang me a song.

This was my first camera – the ‘revolutionary’ Canon A1: the first 35mm camera to automatically set the aperture when you set the shutter speed. Taking a photo of it was harder than you imagine, especially with just one flash. Ultimately, to get some light onto the lens of the A1 I also used a reflector.

Rachel and Martin were perhaps the most fun couple I have met yet – largely because Martin was such a joker. Over from the UK for the ceremony they had just a small wedding party as some of the friends and family couldn’t make it.
The Fairmont is such a beautiful location for a wedding – from the chapel on the roof, through the ballroom corridors, lounges and wine room. The gardens are great too, particularly in summer.
To a lovely couple!
Ok, so the film border is a little cheesy – I just wanted to mix it up a bit as the shot was kinda similar to yesterdays. Again the shot is taken in Bagel Bowl on the back side of the Peak. I was aiming to get Black Tusk in too, but didn’t have a wide enough lens.
