This was my first camera – the ‘revolutionary’ Canon A1: the first 35mm camera to automatically set the aperture when you set the shutter speed. Taking a photo of it was harder than you imagine, especially with just one flash. Ultimately, to get some light onto the lens of the A1 I also used a reflector.
