Every Sunday evening Whistler Blackcomb put on a Fire and Ice show – some of their best ski and snowboard instructors jump through a ring of fire; girls twirl with fire, and there are fireworks. I always have to work Sunday evenings so I don’t get to shoot it – this is the snow plough clearing the jump away, and the Skier’s Plaza deserted.
