I was very excited to be offered an assignment for Tourism Nendaz in Switzerland this winter. They needed photos of all of the ski itineraries (off piste, controlled tour routes) in the 4 Valleys ski region including Verbier. They wanted to capture the sheer size of the mountains and how it might feel to ‘drop in’ to the itineraries; what it would be like to stand on the mountains; and how the skiing would be.
Luckily I knew quite a lot of ski instructors and friends who were only too happy to model for me, and the weather and snow conditions were also in my favour. So over a stretch of about 10 days I skied, shot and edited. Here are some of my favourites from the shoot:
