The weather this winter in Whistler has been way too warm and generally pouring with rain when it should have been snowing. I decided to have a day out and headed over to D’arcy, 80kms or so North. It’s a great drive and a fun way to test my new car. Once there, we pottered around Anderson Lake, chatted with an old friend then meandered back to Whistler, stopping in Pemberton on the way.
I was surprised to find quite a lot of biking / hiking trails at One Mile Lake. With the warm, wet weather the forests are more lush than ever. With camera in hand, and dog around and about, I took a bunch of photos of the trees, buds and bark….and of course a few of Drummer too!
