Bald Eagles in Squamish

Posted by on Nov 22, 2010 in Miscellaneous | 5 Comments

It’s a little early in the year, but already the bald eagles are heading to Squamish (Brackendale, actually) to eat salmon as they head up river.  Amazing to watch, although it was almost too cold to take the camera out!

How fantastic, lovely pictures. Clive and I are birdwatchers (NOT twitchers) we love all birds, eagles are really special, I’ve seen one in Scotland and several in Africa. Helen has red kites over her house in the Chilterns all the time I love watching them. It’s been very cold here as well -5 last night. Some parts of the country have had two feet of snow!
