Architectural interiors and dusk exteriors

The aim for this shoot was to show snow laden properties with beautiful snowy trees and mountains from the windows and decks of several chalets in Nendaz, Switzerland.  Unfortunately Mother Nature did not cooperate so with my client requiring the  images I went ahead and shot anyway.

Working at dusk provides a very short time window for exterior shots, but gives a beautiful blue sky.  Lighting the exterior of the house has somewhat lightened the siding of the chalet – something the snow would otherwise have helped to do.

The interior photos were strategically shot to show the size of the chalet and the proximity of one room to the next.  Using special techniques I could also show the snowy mountains in the distance.  Wine and a fully laid dining table give warmth and a feeling of luxury:  Something my client wanted to portray.
