BIO

Born in the UK, I grew up with a camera in my hands:  through my teenage years I progressed from a 110 with non-reusable flash attachments to a 35mm ‘point and shoot’ when they were first introduced, until I bought my first SLR, an “advanced” Canon A1 at the age of 19.  I still have it!  In 2006 my passion for photography led me to work as a professional portrait & wedding photographer.

PASSION

Photography has become a way of life for me and I am rarely without my camera.  You’ll see from my blog that I am constantly shooting.  Constant shooting leads to constant improvement.  The challenge of variety in my work from portraiture, weddings, still life, architectural and ski action is what keeps me passionate about photography.

PERSONALITY

Every shoot is different and needs a different approach.  A lot of the time the success of the photography correlates to how well the photographer gets on with the client, especially brides, grooms and other private individuals.  Experience has taught me that some people know exactly what they want, while others need my guidance and experience.  The best way to get a feel for how you might get on with me is through conversation – so call me or e-mail me and I’ll call you.
