I was lucky enough to be at the Roundhouse on Whistler Mountain at exactly the right time to see this black – tailed deer. It was not too bothered about me, letting me get fairly close to get this shot – I only had a small lens with me, not expecting to see wildlife in this area. The mountains in the background include Blackcomb and are part of the Spearhead Range.
