With the USA scoring to even the game with just 22 seconds to go, Canadian fans had to wait just a little longer to celebrate the gold. The tension made it all the more sweet, and I have to say that being in the center of the celebrations was one of the most emotional and exciting days of my life.

Nail-biting gold medal game goes the right way for Canada
I have to admit I couldn’t bear it. I went upstairs and waited for a message from Rob. Message read: “Woooooooooooooo!!!”
T’was a tense few minutes for sure. They couldn’t have written a more exciting script – especially with Crosby Golden Boy scoring the winning gold. Still better you lived to rejoice it rather than die of excitement.
I was at my friends place… ( Kim’s), and I must say I was peeking over the top of a pillow. When Sid the Kid scored, her dog Bella went nuts and jumped on me , giving me a very drooly doggy bath.
